How to evaluate an offer?
'Shall I stay or should I go now? '.
The Clash
The process of looking for a new position creates a sense of expectation for the future, which is bit like a virtual time-line of what may be.
It is very rare, except for very senior positions, for candidates to pull-out and say that they would prefer not to take up the role. Perhaps this is not surprising as the recruitment company want to get paid and the company who offered you a role don’t want to be refused.
So you have an offer, no one wants to say ‘no thanks’ but should YOU?
However it might not be as straight-forward as that. Often its helpful to speak to a professional to see if this is a good move for you and if the job positions you where you want to be.
